Welcome to autumn!

Kids are returning back to school and the routines are starting up again. Enjoy the nice weather while it lasts. Hopefully we have a few more months of the good stuff. It’s the time of year to start sipping warm drinks and wearing sweaters outside. I encourage you to take walks, go for a bike ride and make sure to spend time with friends and family. Don’t forget to cheer on your favorite team, be mindful of exercise and eat fall harvested fruits and vegetables while staying in good spirits.

One of our awesome patients is a science teacher. She plans to teach the kids about cells by re-creating a plant cell out of food. I actually saw her at the grocery store picking out the items. I peeked in her cart and saw maple syrup, gum drops and graham crackers. I almost asked her if she was shopping for Buddy the Elf! It is excellent she is able to teach children about the powerhouse of plant cells.

Another amazing patient of ours dazzled me and the team here at MPC&R with his culinary skills. He grows his garden full of fresh herbs to make salads and fruit to make jams and jellies. His home made grape juice was delicious and the lilac jelly we had was exquisite!

I’d like to add a warm welcoming note to our newest staff member Dr. Drew Neville. Yes, we now have another chiropractor in the house! Our team is excited to grow the office and reach out to help more people! I am sure you will get a chance to see what an excellent doctor he is. Dr. Drew is very caring, compassionate and loves his patients at a high level. He has the chiropractic skills to match! We wish him well as he embarks on this journey to helping all achieve better health and wellness here at Mt. Pleasant Chiropractic and Rehab!
